How to create a new experience that unifies ideas from all of our AR products, but was unique and would help users quickly understand the new interactions.

OPPORTUNITY
Design an experience that allows users to try on and shop a curated makeup look featuring lipstick, blush, bronzer, eyeshadow, and mascara visualizing a complete look.
Snapshot capturing key moments, including a collaborative workshop, competitor analysis, information architecture mapping, and early design explorations that shaped the user flow.
APPROACH
Directed cross-functional discovery efforts, leading user research to uncover beauty habits, preferences, and trust gaps in digital try-ons, ensuring the experience met both user expectations and business goals.
Partnered closely with engineering and product teams to align on technical constraints and push for high-fidelity AR rendering, ensuring accurate skin tone detection, lighting adaptation, and realistic hair simulation.
Managed design sprints and iterative testing cycles, coaching the team through feedback loops, prioritizing key usability findings, and driving alignment across stakeholders.
Delivered a scalable solution: Created UX roadmap as fast follow to expand to hair color try on.
